Natural Sleep Aid

I usually think of a million things before I fall asleep. I felt this product relaxed me enough to fall asleep and get a good night's sleep. I didn’t feel groggy in the morning.

Cowboy Casserole and Coconut Chicken Curry

I’m still doing my meal planning and other than one day I’m sticking to it. I recently tried a cowboy casserole that I found on Pinterest and we all liked it. During this journey of “meal” planning I have made things I never have made in the past or have even attempted to make, one of them being a coconut chicken curry, turns out everyone loved it. I could not be successful on this journey without Pinterest it has opened my mind and tastebuds to so many options.

Garnier Whole Blends Oat Milk Shampoo

I had entered to try a free sample of this shampoo and was super excited when there was a package at the door of a full size shampoo and conditioner. Both myself and my husband tried this product. My husband said it was good he has short hair and really likes this product. I have longer hair and loved that the Shampoo and Conditioner had a light scent I’m not a fan of perfume scented products. I found that the shampoo was nice smelling and a little went a long way. I found it lathered up nicely. I really liked the light scent of the conditioner it wasn’t heavy on my hair and I think this is a great choice for winter. Afterwards my hair was a little knotty at the ends but I am in need of a haircut. I would buy this product again.

Manicures with my daughter

I am trying to live under the thought of when I buy something I try and ask myself.. does this add value to my life. This is not been an easy process, I like things, I grew up with the thought that money buys happiness but also experiences. So I felt very guilty for giving in to my 12 year olds request that we get our nails and eyebrows done. It’s been 24 hours and I’m glad we did it. It wasn’t cheap but this was the first time we had done it, it won’t become a monthly habit but we lived in the moment, we bonded we had fun and I’m really hoping that the nail polish lasts. This process of saving and do I need it isn’t easy and it made me realize I am weak in certain moments, I felt guilt but now I don’t regret the moment in time spent with my daughter.

January Meals and Challanges

For this year I have deiced to challenge myself to try and meal plan for the year.. I have managed to plan up to July using a rough guide of the food of the day celebrations.. for example if its national peanut day or potato day I based my meals around that. I love to plan so this is something I enjoyed I haven't finished of the year but I will be posting my meals as I go along. As well we deiced to do a monthly challenge.
